Dr. Pearl Wong graduated from Murdoch University in 2016 and has practiced in Hong Kong since then. She began her career in a shelter and welfare clinic, an experience that shaped her strong commitment to animal welfare. Since then, she has worked in settings ranging from small family clinics to large 24-hour hospital, and she finds greatest reward in being a family veterinarian who partners with owners to help their pets enjoy long, happy lives.

Dr. Pearl’s clinical interests include preventative medicine, aging animal care, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, dermatology and nutrition. She believes food directly influences overall wellbeing and is currently completing a certification in natural nutrition to provide more tailored dietary advice. In 2023, she earned a Master’s degree in Veterinary Conservation Medicine and regularly works at a local wildlife hospital to deepen her knowledge of Hong Kong’s native wildlife.

Dr. Pearl practices evidence-based, fear-free medicine and works closely with owners to tailor medical plans for each animal. She speaks Cantonese, English, and Mandarin. Outside the clinic, she enjoys travelling, reading, and Thai boxing, and shares her home with her two family dogs Dau Dau and Nickie, and her two cats Felix and Morey.
