Dr. Ferran graduated from the Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona and earned his PhD at Ghent University, specializing in reptilian neoplasms. He is a European Board Certified Exotic Specialist and a board-certified Diplomate of the European College of Zoological Medicine (Herpetology).

He completed a combined residency and PhD program at Ghent University and has worked at leading veterinary centers in Spain and Belgium, gaining extensive expertise in exotic and reptile medicine.

He has published extensively, presented at international veterinary conferences, and was awarded 1st prize for best oral presentation in Herpetological Medicine at ICARE.

Fluent in English, Spanish, and Catalan, Dr. Ferran is passionate about advancing exotic animal medicine and delivering specialized care to our patients.
